UDS stellar populations catalog, and data products Author: Ikki Mitsuhashi (ikki0913astr@gmail.com) and Wren Suess (suess@colorado.edu) with huge credit to Bingjie Wang & Joel Leja Updated: Jan 22 2026 REFERENCE ------------ Details on the modeling should be referred to Wang et al. 2023b. The modeling components are briefly reiterated here. Redshifts and galaxy properties are jointly inferred using the Prospector inference framework (Johnson et al. 2021). The model consists of 18 free parameters, adopting the MIST stellar isochrones (Choi et al. 2016; Dotter et al. 2016) and MILES stellar library (Sanchez-Blazquez et al. 2006) from FSPS (Conroy et al. 2010). SFH assumes a non-parametric form, defined by mass formed in 7 logarithmically-spaced time bins (Prospector-alpha; Leja et al. 2017). A mass function prior, a Gaussian mass-metallicity prior, and a dynamic SFH(M, z) prior from Prospector-beta are included to optimize the photometric inference over the wide parameter space covered by deep JWST surveys (Wang et al. 2023a). A minimum error floor of 5% is imposed in all fits to reflect the additional systematic uncertainties. Fits are only run for galaxies with use_phot=1.
